Who We Are
Marlee and Alexi, co-founders of SENSE-ational Spaces, are licensed and registered occupational therapists who share the same mission: to create environments where every person can thrive.

We specialize in creating safe, sensory-friendly environments that support the unique needs of individuals with disabilities. We pride ourselves in creating custom-tailored spaces - big or small that meet each individual's therapeutic needs.

Funding Streams
We work with a wide array of funding streams, including county grant and waiver funding, private pay, and donation-based funds through organizations, such as various Make-A-Wish chapters across the United States. Our billing codes include: EAA Assessment T1028, EAA Equipment & Installation S5165, Family Training S5110, AT Assessment T2029 UD, AT Equipment & Installation T2029 UB, Specialized Supplies & Equipment T2029 & T2029NU.
Minnesota & Wisconsin Grant Waivers
We operate in synergy with the state by serving as the crucial link between clients, contractors, and case managers to create a safe, sensory-friendly space to assist with emotional regulation and daily participation for years to come!
Equipment Ordering
Our SENSE-ational Spaces® team of medical professionals has curated a catalog of vetted equipment commonly recommended and used in our clients’ spaces. We accept waiver funding for the ordering of the equipment and can bill codes: T2029 UB, T2029, and T2029NU.
Private Pay
Our occupational therapists provide safe sensory‑informed, therapeutic expertise through education and designing customized sensory‑friendly environments for individuals of all ages—from toddlers to seniors—in the places that matter most: homes, schools, and community spaces.
Summer Therapeutic Intensive
This 8-week program offers virtual or in-person therapeutic services provided by our team of occupational therapists to support the enhancement of participation in everyday activities. This service includes an initial assessment, followed by consultative services from licensed occupational therapists.
When: June 22nd - August 14th
Frequency: Twice a week for the duration of the program
Duration: 1-hour sessions
Location: In-home or virtual
Payment: Waiver-based funding through MN & WI & private pay
